Overview
CRM activities keep the next action attached to the opportunity it belongs to. They are separate from general project tasks because they describe sales follow-ups before or during a deal.
Activity Types
Choose the type that best describes the work:
- Task for a general action
- Call for a planned phone conversation
- Email for a message that needs to be sent
- Meeting for a scheduled appointment
- Quotation for preparing or following up on a quote
- Note for information that should remain visible
- Other when none of the specific types apply
Add an Activity
To add an activity:
- Open an opportunity
- Find Activities
- Enter the next activity title
- Choose its type
- Add a due date and time when applicable
- Select Add activity
Use action-oriented titles such as “Call decision maker” or “Send revised quotation.”
Review All Activities
Open CRM > Activities to see CRM activities across opportunities. The list shows the activity type, linked opportunity, assignee, due date, and whether the activity is open or completed.
Use the opportunity page when you need the activity in the context of one deal.
Complete or Reopen an Activity
Select Complete when the action is finished. You can record an outcome so the result is available on the opportunity.
Select Reopen if the activity needs more work. Reopening removes its completion state without removing the activity from the history.
Add a Meeting to Your Calendar
A meeting with a due date shows Add to calendar. Use this link to download the calendar event, then open it with your calendar application.
Understand the Timeline
The opportunity timeline records important CRM events in chronological order. It can include activities, stage changes, automated actions, and other updates.
The timeline is history; the Activities section is where you manage actionable follow-ups.
Automatic Follow-ups
When an opportunity moves into the Proposal stage, Pricefic can create a Prepare and send quotation activity automatically.
In CRM > Settings, use Quotation follow-up days to control when quotation-related follow-up should happen. You can also enable Create a follow-up when qualifying leads to give newly qualified opportunities an immediate next step.
