Overview
Pricefic includes filters on the documents list so you can narrow large document histories and find the records you actually need.
You can use filters to focus on:
- A specific document type
- A specific status
- A date range
This is especially helpful when you manage many invoices, quotations, and receipts across multiple customers or businesses.
Opening the Documents List
Go to Documents to open your main document list.
From there, you can review all available documents or narrow them with filters before opening an individual record.
Filtering by Type
Use the Type filter to show only one document type at a time.
Common examples include:
- Invoices
- Quotations
- Receipts
This is useful when you want to review only invoices without mixing them with quotes or receipts.
Filtering by Status
Use the Status filter to focus on a specific workflow state.
Depending on the documents in your account, this helps you isolate:
- Draft documents
- Sent documents
- Paid documents
- Other active statuses in your workflow
Status filtering is helpful when you want to follow up on unpaid work or review completed records.
Filtering by Date Range
Use the date filter to narrow documents to a time window.
This helps when you want to:
- Review documents from a particular month
- Compare activity across periods
- Find documents around a specific deadline or event
If you enter a custom range, Pricefic applies that range directly to the list.
Clearing Filters
Use Clear filters to return to the full document list.
This is the fastest way to remove:
- Type filters
- Status filters
- Date filters
Clearing filters is useful when you are done with one review task and want to start a different one.
Finding Documents from Related Records
In some parts of Pricefic, you can open a document list that is already scoped to a related record.
Examples include filtering documents from:
- A business
- A customer
- A payment method
- An inventory item
This helps you jump into a focused document view without starting from the full list every time.
Tips for Faster Review Work
- Start with type before adding more filters
- Use date filters when reviewing recent activity
- Use related-record views when investigating one customer, business, or item
- Clear filters before assuming a document is missing
