How team access works
In Pricefic, teams own shared resources. When you join a team, the businesses and records that belong to that team become available in your account automatically.
You do not need to switch into a separate workspace to see those records. Instead, Pricefic shows the businesses and related resources from every team you can access.
Joining a team
When someone invites you to a team:
- You receive an invitation email
- Accepting the invitation adds that team's resources to your account
- Your access is controlled by the role assigned to you in that team
After you join, shared businesses, customers, documents, reports, and other linked records start appearing anywhere you already work with those resource types.
What happens when access is removed
If your access to a team is removed:
- That team's businesses disappear from your business selectors
- Documents, customers, payment methods, and other linked records from that team are no longer visible
- Your remaining teams and resources continue to work normally
Default roles
Pricefic currently supports these default team roles:
- Primary admin: team owner with full access
- Company admin: manages team members, settings, and current business workflows
- Standard all access: works across documents, customers, projects, businesses, and transactions
- Accountant: focuses on accounting, reconciliation, reports, and related document workflows
- Reports only: can view reports and supporting data without broader editing access
Your team owner can choose the right role for the work you need to do.
Creating records in the right team
Most creation flows in Pricefic use business selection to determine ownership.
For example, when you create an invoice:
- You choose the business once
- Pricefic automatically saves the invoice to the team that owns that business
- New nested records created during that flow, such as customers, payment methods, or saved notes, inherit the same ownership context
This keeps ownership consistent without forcing you to manage team switches for every task.
Working across multiple teams
If you belong to multiple teams, Pricefic keeps the workflow simple:
- Your business selectors show the businesses you can access
- Shared resources appear in the same lists and tools you already use
- Team ownership is still enforced in the background for security
When needed, you can open Settings → Teams to review the teams you belong to and open the settings for a specific team.
